当会は、三重県の荒廃した山々に木を植える活動をしています。また、足尾で植樹をしたい各種団体を「体験植樹」として支援しています。 植樹とは 植樹とは植林同様「木を植える事」です。 主に木材生産を目的とした「産業植林」は、収穫を見越して多くの木を植えますが、植樹には生産性などの目的はなく、記念的なもの、そして山をよみがえらせるボランティア的な意味合いが含まれるため、一度に植える木の本数が少ないという特徴があります。
